Smit Salvage
In 2004 a car carrier vessel sank in the Strait of Malacca at the Singapore coast.
To salvage this vessel Smit Salvage decided to cut this vessel in smaller fragments.
Especially for this project Smit Salvage contracted Idea to build a Salvage Grabber.
Hydrospex built the hydraulics
In my role as controls engineer working for Hydrospex I designed the hardware to control the hydraulics.
